Day 24 of Block a Day December

Haha you didn't think I would do it, did you?!
But yes, I've been busy all day today (wrapping and cooking ETC)  but I've made a block!!

This is Wonky Christmas Tree, a free pattern by Leah Day (actually the instructions are for a whole quilt, which is pretty neat, but, for now I just have one tree).

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas. I know for many, it won't feel quite the same as it should but I do I hope there is happiness and love involved however you celebrate.
'til next time,
happy stitches,
Joy, Peace and Love to all,

Day 23 of Block a Day December

Not much more than a photo today - this really is a challenge as we get closer to Christmas. This red fabric is really old; I've used it for a few projects over the years and it's nearly all gone now. It is cute but doesn't have quite the same feel as the other fabrics - it's probably just as well there's little left.
Time for bed,
'til next time,
happy stitches,

Day 22 of Block a Day December

This was how today's block looked first thing this morning —
Was I cheating? - as you can see this Omigosh! block was only a few seams away from completion —
However, a block is a block and it's another one done :-)
I had two meal dates today....after a work meeting this morning we had a yummy lunch in town. A few hours at home and them Mum and I went out to dinner to help celebrate the 14 year old grandie's birthday. It was my first time at a Korean restaurant and it was quite delicious.

'til next time,
happy stitches,
