...and Day 4 of Block A Day December —
Finally The Lorax has got his eyes!! While it didn't take me too long, this is about all I did for Friday Night with Friends, hosted by Cheryll of stitchingcubbyhole. Thank you Cheryll for having us along :-)
I used my Perfect Circles, they didn't quite come out perfect this time but are very straight forward to do this way and look okay!!
During the day, I sewed up my one block for the day. Actually it was two blocks today —
These are for my Omigosh quilt. They didn't take too long to make as I started with this little pile which just needed assembling —
Below is what I will be working with next time I pick it up. A bit of this and a bit of that and before I know it, there's a new block :-)
'til next time,
Happy stitches,
Happy stitches,
It is always nice to stitch with friends. This year has been the first time in my life that I am thankful for technology. As tough as this year has been, it has brought me to face with the 21st century. Happy stitching! Love the Lorax!
ReplyDeletelots of pretty little pieces of fabric there I was going to make the OMG quilt at one time but never did, I started Afternoon Delight last year but put it aside to work on others, now I'm not sure if I really want to make that one.

Nice work on your block challenge and those eyes look great to me. xx
ReplyDeletea block a day is a great plan - love the little critter - no one has perfect eyes anyway - I'm sure those circles are great...I do have some - but avoid circles when I can!
ReplyDeleteI did the block a day when Angie at Gnome Angel ran one for Tula Pink's City quilt? and it was fun. Leaders and enders are wonderful! Love seeing the Lorax peek.
ReplyDeleteAs such expressive eyes too. Nice job...
