The other day I sewed up a Christmas Table Topper. Today I thought I'd better get it finished so that it can be used this year.
Initially I had trouble deciding on the binding fabric - my first thought was to use red, but the green won over in the end —
I kept the quilting very simple - just stitching in the ditch, which was the quickest finish, and all that is needed to show off the design.
A spot of hand sewing this evening and it was finished —
The pattern is available *here*. It's called the Cookie Plate Crumb Catcher by Julie Cefalu. Thank you Julie for this lovely pattern.
Aren't these fabrics sweet?
I also got another two blocks for my Temperature quilt sewn. The light blue squares are some of the cooler days in August, 6º-7º —
Okey dokey, bed time,
'til next time,
happy stitches,
