Back to the tractors

I got working on some more tractor tyres for Xavier's quilt today. These ones are all stitched down now.
And I cut out some more for the next ones —
But realised I'll have to change fabrics for the last couple —
The rims will be from fabrics left over from the tractors and trucks so will be a variety of colours.

This evening I finished the first of the two 'Easter' bunnies I'm making.
A little fiddly but do-able! The pattern is a Tilda one *here*.

I tackled a hill climb I had been putting off today.
The gap in the trees is the gateway. Looks calm enough —
Once through the gate there's a bit of uphill —

And a little more —
But the view is worth the climb. The top of a hill is always a good spot to stop and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Pretty much dead centre of the photo is the wee stand of trees where
I was yesterday.
Some lovely bush on these hillsides —
And yes, a water trough in these hill paddocks - our cows are mountain cows!

I hope you're all doing well and your spirits are keeping up.
'til next time,
happy stitches,
and stay well,

  5. Your vistas make my soul sing. Where we live it is flat flat flat. DH grew up in the near-mountains of PA and I grew up in hilly MI. We both miss our hills.

I secretly love your bunny but
