Day 10 of Block a Day December

This photo signifies something good that happened today.
I'll give you a clue. That speck on the fabric is glitter that fell off my face(?) while sewing this afternoon.
That glitter means I was (finally) well enough to get out and about again. Yaay! After staying home for a week I am good to go. But I don't do things by halves. I did a school drop off, went to Playcentre, and babysat so spent time with 6 of the grandies in one day. Haha too cute.

You may have realised I'm dong a broad sweep of all the projects that I had wanted to work to this year. Touching base with those that were on my list for 2020.
I'm still deliberating over the way my lockdown quilt (last night) is looking, so I'll leave it up on the wall for a while until I decide its fate.
In the meantime, it was out of the box for Foxley Village. I've done all the applique blocks but there are still pieced blocks to complete.
Part Eight needed 4 spool blocks and now these are made too.
Hmmmm I didn't read the pattern closely enough. I thought I was making one big block but the instructions say to make four blocks and join them. Oh well, tea could have been made a little earlier and the washing may have been folded but I'm not too bothered to have made 4 and not one!
(Actually, the MOML was extremely late milking tonight (too busy chatting to someone) so I had the extra time ๐Ÿ˜€.)
Close up of the lovely Tilda fabrics —
'til next time,
happy stitches,
