I love seeing kids working on a farm and not sitting in front of a computer! I didn't grow up on a working farm but we had a farmhouse in the country with a little bit of animals and huge gardens and lots of apple trees. I loved the way I grew up and wish more kids could see the benefit of being outside.

They look like they had so much fun. I used to love to feed the calves. But feeding the lambs looks like a good time too.

I bet they had the best time with all the young animals you have on the farm at the moment. I had a good giggle picking out the young chicken's egg! Glad to see you got a bit of stitching done.

Hi Raewyn ... I was reading this post thinking to myself that I bet those kids just LoVe coming to the farm for their holidays with all the different activities. Are they town kids I wonder?

What a great story in pictures! Love the moments you've caught here Raewyn. How wonderful to have a night off too right?! Somehow I don't imagine it will be too peaceful and quiet on a farm in spring!

Your photos take me back to my days living near a farm and holidaying on a farm owned by an Aunt!! Lovely to see all the animals and the kids helping out. Thanks for giving me a trip down memory lane.
