I've been Missing In Action from blog land for a little bit, while I have my Head Down and my Foot to the Pedal finishing some Christmas sewing.... but the urge to blog got too strong today when I was stitching a couple of hexie-flowers... being a Wednesday, I decided to join in for One Flower Wednesday.
And thank you to Karen at Journey Of a Quilter, for hosting One Flower Wednesday for us keen hexie-flower-addicts :-)
Time for Head Down and Foot to the Pedal again!! See you all soon — (and thank you for visiting),
And if I don't get back to you in the next few days....

Love your flowers like the idea of making coasters,my first hexie was made into a coaster and use it everyday by my machine. Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year jinnie
ReplyDeleteVery pretty flowers! It's hard to spend much time online this time of year. Hope ou're back sewing away by now.
ReplyDeleteWhat nice hexies. I like how they look in your tree. Great idea with the felt backing.
ReplyDeleteHi Raewyn, I though you were going to say head down bum up doing something farmy - so glad to hear you've been busy sewing - the best kind of busy! For that finishing touch re the coaster/tree decoration - if you had a card with a window opening big enough that you could dangle the coaster inside it - perhaps with a removeable hanger - it could then become the ultimate... Xmas card, tree decoration and then ever so useful coaster... the perfect gift!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty flowers! I just came across those fabrics in my stash today, too!
ReplyDeleteYour hexie coasters are beautiful, very pretty fabrics. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHello there Raewyn, I have loved seeing every hexagon you have made this year and the new ones are no exception. The coasters are a great idea, clever Melody and the fabrics you have used are so pretty. Wishing you a very happy christmas.
