Excitement!
I've had 2 Pomegranate trees for years ...first fruit ever :-)
Delicious with yogurt and cereal for breakfast. |
|
Autumn days are here again |
|
Beautiful blue skies and trees getting ready for winter |
|
Farm recovering well after drought breaking rains.
Nice and green but not a lot of food value in the grass yet.
(PS it's still very watery, it usually takes about 3 weeks to 'harden up'). |
|
Loved the dark clouds on the horizon line - looked like another range of
trees or mountains! |
|
A lovely gift from a lovely friend. |
See you all another day!!
Happy sewing,

Nice little fussy-cut center for your hexie.
ReplyDeleteOh, how cool would that be to grow your own pomegranates!!
Gorgeous scenery, Raewyn!
Hmm, just came from Leeanne's blog. I think your dolls are twins separated at birth! : )
Aww - what a cute flower. I love the landscape photos. So calm and peaceful.
ReplyDeleteLovely flower!! Thanks for sharing your pretty pictures!

What a pretty flower with the native bird in the centre.
ReplyDeleteYour farm is looking gorgeous with it green fields.
Lucky you to have been given such a cute doll.
Hmm!! Pomegranates reminds me of my childhood.
I bet that was the best pomegranate ever!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful landscape pictures, enjoy your Autumn, gorgeous colours to be! The g-apple looks fantastic. Love your hexagon flower too:-)
ReplyDeleteA lovely assortment of pics and comments! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteCute hexie!!! And the doll is adorable!!! The farm does look better!! When will the grass have feed value - or will it become dormant until next spring? How are the cows doing? Are you drying off the last ones? Keep me posted on the calving and rearing - we can relate!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings
what an outstanding flower you made this week! And what a lovely photo of your farm....all the photos you shared are lovely....
ReplyDeleteLove the tui hexi Raewyn. What a great way to use kiwi prints. Can't wait to see what you do next. I have fruit on my pomegranate for the first time but they are far from ripe. Think the colder weather is going to halt the ripening process.
ReplyDeleteThe bird looks great, the colours work so well together...
ReplyDeleteLovely fussy cut flower . Thanks for sharing all the photos , those green fields are beautiful and neat that your leaves are just falling and ours are just coming to life .
ReplyDeleteLove your photos Raewyn. I have never tried pomegranates, either to eat or to grow. Love the hexie "flower". Looks like you have received a Megan dolly too :-) She is delightful.
ReplyDeleteYes we have greened up here too - thank goodness, sometimes felt like it was going to stay brown forever.
Great photos, always love to see other parts of the world. I can't commit at this time to this flower project, but you can count on me to do lots of them this summer!
ReplyDeleteLovely flower :) So that's what a pomegranate looks like! Yes very sheltered life ;) Yay for the rain, hope the growth catches up quickly. We don't do autumn colour here, so it is lovely to see some :) Lovely gift!
ReplyDeleteDo you think we could call our dolls 'The triplets'???
ReplyDeletelike the hexagon. had no idea it takes so long before you get the fruit from your tree.
ReplyDeleteThe angel looks very much at home with you
Wonderful photos, love the flower and very exciting about the pomegranate!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely Raewyn.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice flower. Love the bird in the middle of the red.
ReplyDeleteLove your autumn photos, such a beautiful time of year. The tui hexie flower is lovely and your new doll is gorgeous! Hugs Wendy
