Still heading north

We didn't have as many stops yesterday,  so not nearly as many photos!

We continued heading north and crossed the border from Victoria into New South Wales at some stage.

We left West Wyalong and detoured out to Weethalle to visit the silos we'd forgone the night before because we'd chatted too much and run out of light!

 I loved the cleverness here.....see how the artist used the railings, etc, to pen some sheep!

 There was a cafe in the old railway station and carriages which I didn't photograph but this cute old bank was in the area there too. 

Not sure if we are improving our selfie skills or not!

Lunch and a bit of shopping was at Condoblin.

We've seen lots of these gorgeous old buildings but I haven't photographed many-

Condoblin is also the home of The Painted Utes. We weren't sure what to expect from the road as the area was being developed. We'd also heard that the floods had been through but we weren't disappointed. 

I took photos of the plaques telling the story behind each ute but time is of the essence so you're just getting a few photos! Just enjoy the artistry!

More driving followed...unfortunately it was dusk again so there was the concern of kangaroos on the road.  Gladly we didn't see any  but I wouldn't have minded seeing the odd one from afar!

We've spent a nice night at Gilgandra and this morning we're heading to Baradine where, finally, Scrub Stitching will start!!!! There is a quilt shop on the way that we Must Visit  but it's not a big driving day and we'll arrive well and truly by lunchtime.
