Nothing beats a real fire. We are having some spectacular weather here too and my daughter has just finished a school project on monarch butterflies. Isn't it amazing how bananas grow in a much wider climate than many people expect? I grow bananas too, in Adelaide, SA. They are a small variety, really sweet with a fruit salad flavour. Delicious. Love Eeyore, and blue wrens are one of my all time favourite birds.... along with willy wagtails.
