I had not heard of this type of quilt until another blogger I follow (sarahdidit blog) started making them 2 or 3 years ago. She makes all of hers using English Paper Piecing. The whole idea of a weather quilt is kind of a fascinating concept to me (because I consider myself a kind of weather geek), but I know I would never be able to keep up!
